2014 has been a fascinating year for my small business, Memorywalk Video Productions. 2013 was my first year filming weddings and I really came into 2014 with the goal of doing a few more weddings and improving my skill level on filming and editing, while at the same time adding to the gear bag to enable some more creativity into my films. I really couldn’t be more happy and overjoyed with how 2014 went on a professional level. I filmed 9 weddings and a few business projects that really brought my small business to the next level. That may not sound like a lot, but I do work as an IT manager during the day. This makes my schedule maxed out in the summer months but I wouldn’t change a thing!
I have to say a huge thank you to all my clients who believed in me and trusted Memorywalk in capturing their wedding day. The feedback you all have given me and the support and kind words have inspired me to continue to get better at what I do every day. For 2015, I plan on focusing in on how to tell a love story even better and to really hone in on my craft. It’s been a fantastic journey so far and I can’t wait to see what this year brings.
Please feel free to enjoy this short (3m30s) 2014 – year in review film that showcases bits and pieces of the weddings I filmed this past year.
